2nd day in San Francisco

So second full day in San Francisco. First of all a confession of sorts, you’d think an Englishman that’s lived in New Zealand for over 32 years would know when to put sunblock on right?. Well apparently not, got a bit burnt yesterday and a bit red, my head is glowing like a traffic light, and more than once I’ve been asked if I’m okay.
Anyway a couple of things to note.
1. This place has more than its fair share of nutters. Seems like there’s one per corner. And by nutters I mean fully fledged nutters. One woman we passed was having a screaming match at herself and she was very upset.
2. Like most major cities the place smells of stale urine.
3. It is a nice place however and in spite of the above 2 points it actually reminds me a lot of Auckland.

Anyway back to the hotel, feet are throbbing. Resting up before the night tour of Alcatraz later.
Go to Sausalito as well while you are there, lovely wee spot very arty if you like that sort of thing
So now Barry is a red head! Buy a hat!!!!!!
Have you got those real cool glasses marks on the side of your head now?? Haha lobster head!
And the starsole award goes to………
Yeah Yeah Yeah I get all the starsoles, and I have racing stripes for sure.
Also have 3 hats now the thing is the burnt bit is the bit that the hat doesn't cover. 🙁
