Holbrook to Flagstaff

We backtracked a bit today to the petrified forest it was very impressive.

From the petrified forest it was back to heading west again. Stopped off at Winslow Arizona for the obligatory photo and a root beer at the diner.

From Winslow it was onto the meteor crater. Was pretty impressive for a big hole.

Onto Flagstaff and our base camp for 3 days we have a 2 bedroom cabin in the woods..  it’s number 13 what could possibly go wrong.

First impressions of Flagstaff are very positive. Proper explore tomorrow and deciding how were going to do the Grand Canyon.  

The best news of the day was that I have been reunited with my camera gear.
