Sitting now at LAX we got here way ahead of time and now just need to sit for a few hours waiting for the flight.
The last couple of days were uneventful, it was great to wind down a bit on the Queen Mary. The hotel itself was a bit tired and a bit run down, but it was fine, the sense of old school grandeur was brilliant. Before we left the ship today we sat and had high tea.
Anyway the holiday is just about at an end. And what a trip it’s been. We have seen some fantastic things and experienced a whole lot of fun, there has been times of utmost hilarity and there has been the odd almost spiritual occasion.
The fact that the four of us have been together for almost 4 weeks on a daily basis without the urge to kill one another is testament to our friendship. I want to thank Greg & Jacqui for a marvelous trip and some great memories.
One final note. I can’t wait to get back to my coffee machine. Americans really are crap at coffee.
Mate, what a struggle this week has been. Next time may I suggest we simply dont come back? I think it would be easier. Jac and I had a great time and I agree, we all got on great and would do it all again in a heartbeat.
