Day 12: Manta Rota, Portugal 🇵🇹

Day 10 and 11 were just about packing up and travelling to Portugal. We spent a lovely afternoon with Mandy’s family at a village pub and a fantastic lunch. It really has been wonderful seeing them again.

Yesterday we arrived in Faro Portugal to be met by my aunty Joyce and her husband John. It was fantastic to see them its been a few years.

After an hours Drive we arrived at their place in Manta Rota, there was no time to relax however as we went straight out!.

We met up with my cousin Zanny and her husband Gary. Many drinks and a meal later we went back home. It was a lovely evening and great to catch up with all the happenings with these lovely people. We haven’t laughed so much in a long time.

We went for a drive out to a small town called Alcoutim on the Spanish border, a very picturesque town

From here we drove to the beach at Monte Gordo and had a beer in the blazing sun overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

I believe most of the bars are closed on Mondays. My liver is thinking thank god for that!

Tomorrow we travel about an hour and a half for a night in Seville. really looking forward to it.
