arrived..

So after what seemed like an age we have arrived in San Francisco, the flight was OK 12 hours long but we had upgraded to Premium Economy, i didn’t think it would make much of a difference, but the extra room by itself is worth it!

Its now 13:30 pm in NZ on the 5th July I have been awake since the 4th / July 5:30am (the England vs Colombia game!)

I’m sitting here falling asleep and its only 18:54pm.

Fisherman’s wharf was madness today, its the 4th July and everyone in San Francisco was at the wharf celebrating.

Now I’m not a people person at the best of times but this was nuts, in the end we just went back to hotel and had dinner and crashed, like i say its 18:54 pm here and I’m falling asleep.  so just going to stop this here and get to bed even though its hours before the usual time.  will continue tomorrow cannot keep eyes open.

update:
fell asleep very easily but awoke at 10:00pm with a huge amount of fireworks going off.   It was so loud must’ve been close by, it sounded like there was an invasion going on!. I’m now wide awake and its nowhere near morning!

oh look a replay of the England Colombia game is on..  don’t mind if i do.

Tomorrow were going to take Samantha on a bus tour of San Francisco. will post again tomorrow.
