On March the 16th Air New Zealand announced they were suspending long-haul flights to international destinations including Houston.
This effectively ended our holiday, and so the process of cancelling everything ensued.
As of 6th June we have gotten a lot of the money back from our trip.
Still outstanding is the money for the flight, sitting With Air New Zealand, the deposit paid for accommodation in Gettysburg and our internal USA flights.
Looking at the current climate in USA with Covid-19 and the riots, its likely we dodged a bullet both figuratively and literally
The plan at the moment is to recoup costs as much as possible then start planning for USA 2021.
