Day 7: Lincoln and Sam

Met Sam at the train station as he was coming down from Edinburgh. We had lunch at the old Corn Exchange an old Grade 2 listed building built in the 1870’s, converted now into a cafe with some shops. great atmosphere and great decor.
After Lunch we dropped Sams bag up to our room as it was too early for him to check in. Then went for a walk up to the Cathedral up the aptly named “Steep Hill” however many times I walk through the Exchequer Gate and see the full grandeur of the west front it never fails to blow me away
Went inside to hunt down the Lincoln “imp”
Today was just about catching up with Sam to see how he was doing.. he looked really well.
Tomorrow we see Sam off at the Train station then head off to Kings Lynn to see Mandys Family.
