Yesterday and today were just about travelling home. Yesterday the Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Tokyo a four hour trip and perfectly on time again. then a monorail out to the airport hotel we were staying at. Well after we booked onto the hotel and grabbed our keys we went up the elevator to our floor turned into the corridor and it was like a scene from “The Shining” !! half expected to see some twin pop around the corner.

Today we just took the flight from Tokyo back to Manila, got a shot of Mt Fuji on the way out.

And on that note, this brief holiday in Japan has come to an end. It’s been brilliant we’ve had a wonderful time, we saw some amazing things. Everywhere we went it was clean and tidy, there was no graffiti.

The highlight for us was Hiroshima in particular MiyaJima Island.

We intended this quick trip, to be a taster to see if we’d go back there for a longer time, and, after what we’ve just experienced, we’d have to say we would, 100%.
