Stamford – Tallington Lakes

After Ferry Meadows in Peterborough we headed a little further north to a place called Tallington Lakes this was for a Meetup of the Unofficial Consort Owners Group. We really didn’t know what to expect but they’ve turned out to be a nice bunch of people.

A Collection of Consort Vans.

Close by is the Market town of Stamford. Stamford is a beautiful old town in South Lincolnshire so we paid a visit

A really quaint town, with lots of independent shops, Georgian style architecture with its light coloured limestone buildings and the river Welland running through.

There was a fair on in the town over the weekend as well, which was good fun to see. We almost talked ourselves to a ride on the twister for nostalgia’s sake but quickly changed our minds at the 5 Pound ticket price..

We had an enjoyabe night in the clubhouse here at Tallington Lakes with all the other Consort owners having dinner and drinks.
