Chilling Out
April 1, 2026
Been a bit quiet as were just relaxing on a couple of CL (camping location) sites, the weather is a bit miserable very windy and cold, even if the sun is out.
Bedington Hall Farm
Stayed at this place for 2 nights a small farm CL just outside of Woodton South Norfolk this place place is lovely and would be even better in the summer with full foliage on the trees.

Walked into the local pub that actually doubles as an Indian restaurant and had a good meal.
Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum
On the way to the next CL we stopped in at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, a small aircraft museum with some great displays and larger than we thought it would be.

We spent a few hours here and it was worth the £10 pound ticket price.
We drove about 40 minutes to the next CL the GPS takes you up and down some seriously tight roads, we were lucky this time to not meet anyone coming the other way.
Its been a bit miserable weather wise which means at the moment the van is filthy, it desperately needs a wash.
The Stables – Forncett St Peter

The last place we stayed at was a CL based on a converted set of stables its a lovely stay, nothing much to do but walk, but as the weather has not been the best we have not done much of that. Having said that we did take a walk into the village at lunch time to go to the local pub for lunch, we’d read really poor reviews – that the landlady has a bad attitude etc but decided to risk it “for shits and giggles” as Mandy said, however the walk was in vain, as the place was closed; even 30 minutes after its official opening time, maybe just as well…
Tomorrow we go to another CL further around and closer to the Norfolk Broads and hopefully a pub that is open!
