Ludham Part 2

We took a bus into the lovely village of Horning sat and had brunch watching the world go by. Horning is a village that lies on the bank of the river Bure, described as the prettiest village on the Broads.

Brunch at this cafe in Horning

Over the next few days we walked to a place called How Hill, almost like a reserve, it had a huge house with some very well kept grounds and a couple of beautiful gardens. It also produces an annual crop of reeds and sedge for thatching.

Still collecting Reeds from the area

Lots of nice long walks here.

Loved this. An old sailboat sailing past the windmill

Now were off to Marks for a couple of nights before making our way back up north to Leeds to get a couple of VERY minor van issues sorted out

  • I think you guys needs to reach out to some travel agencies and sell your photos/stories or at the very least turn this blog into a “coffee table” book once you have finished. I will place the first order please.
