Brittany – Dinan

We have arrived in the medieval town of Dinan in Brittany, our next area of France to explore. A very beautiful town made up of half timber houses and cobbled streets, very hilly walking around.

After visiting the local market this morning we walked around the ramparts that surround the inner part of the town.

We stopped for coffee and bought a local delicacy called kouign-amann which is really just butter and sugar added to bread and absolutely delicious.
