Annecy

So we have completed our 4 days of travel across the bottom of France to reach Annecy.

A stunning place that we plan to spend a few days here, just relaxing and enjoying it – having a mini holiday 🙂

Was quite a drive in, Baz stopped to take this shot on the way down.

We are staying at a campsite on the southern end of the lake, great location right next to the cycle paths, we plan to hire some bikes tomorrow and see how we go cycling around the lake.

We took a bus into Annecy today and explored the city, it is beautiful – but again very touristy. Had the pleasure of our 2nd rude waiter in France here – we went to sit down at a table outside after saying we were having lunch, he shouted that we were in the wrong place and starts to walk away to show us another table, you can imagine Baz’s reaction to that – we left, would have liked to see his face when he realised we were not following him:)

France is about to have another heatwave so we need to be prepared for that, will do our sightseeing in the morning and take advantage of the campsite facilities in the afternoons.
