Day 5 Durango

today was meant to be the reason we came to Durango in the first place and that was ride on the Durango – Silverton steam train.
Due to Fire 416 the steam train rides were cancelled but the railroad company put on a smaller ride to cascades creek with a diesel locomotive instead.
So today we took a ‘trolley’ into town to go on this ride.
Durango itself was very nice.
Fantastic scenery 🙂 Enjoy the ride out to the pueblos tomorrow.
