Day 2 – Tokyo – Senso-Ji
April 4, 2024
Had two places to see today and that was Akehabara and Senso-Ji.
Went to Akehabara in the morning because we (me) wanted to go to the big electronics store.

Bought a few things in here but not too much, i could spend hours looking through here, Mandy not so much so after a coffee break Mandy sat on a bench outside while i went back in.
Next to the entrance was a cat cafe..

In the afternoon it was off to Senso-Ji Temple.

Senso-Ji is a major Buddhist temple and the oldest in Tokyo founded in 628. It’s also one of the most visited religious sites in the world with 30m visitors per year.

Was fantastic to walk around this place and there were a ton of people.

After a quick bite to eat it was back to the hotel to rest up and pack for tomorrow. Yes, after just getting the hang of the train system in Tokyo, we are out of here tomorrow morning and heading to Kyoto.

Looks fantastic
