Chamonix Mont Blanc

We are staying at the foothills of Mount Blanc, had a fun journey here climbing higher and higher and at times very narrow roads with crazy drivers overtaking on corners etc, we were glad to get here!

The place is really lovely, we can imagine how magical it looks in the winter.

We took the cog railway up to Montenvers – The Mer De Glace (sea of ice)

This is the largest glacier in France, once we arrived in the cog railway we took a cable car down to the glacier which still required 160 steps to reach. We explored the ice cave before returning.
